A very close second, a great film (with a pre-Sopranos Lorraine Bracco.) 3. "The Departed," 2006. The- barely- fictionalized Whitey Bulger story. Nails the Boston Irish mob, um, dead-on. 4. "The Godfather II," 1974. One of the few sequels that can stand up to the original. 5. "Scarface," 1983. What one word comes to mind when thinking of this flick?! And whatever happened to the Diaz brothers...?? 6. "Donnie Brasco," 1997.
