Kellie grew up in Suburban Sydney and attended MERIDEN *grins*. It seems, the moment Kell left school she began her career in entertainment, ( at just 17 years of age) as she became a 'Teen Queen', an early 1990's pop group consisting of Liza Witt, Roxanne Clark and of course Kellie Hoggart. The Teen Queens original intention was for a series set in the 60's revolving around 3 girls, Tammy, Kathi and Sandy,
The girls created the pilot, however it is told that the show was not authentic enough and therfore the pilot was never bought out or aired. < ---- * sob-sob *

The Teen Queens then kept the idea of a band and was kindly plugged on numurous occasions on Channel 10's 'E-Street'.

"I did Teen Queens when i was 17 for 2 years, and then some pilots and then 2 years of Pizza Hut commercials and lots of other bits and pieces" - Kellie ( NINEMSN CHAT)

In 1992-1993 the girls completed a sell out tour of South East Asia before making their first album ' Get Happy'.

Album Includes: Be my Baby, I love how you love me, I cant Help Myself, Wouldn't it be nice, plus many more.

Not too long after the Teen Queens ended Kellie scored a role in Australian Drama/ Comedy ' Dating the Enemy' as the make up artist for the character 'Brett' ( Guy Pierce. ) Produced 1996.

Around 1995, Kell and fellow band member Paul, formed "Insomnia".
If you're a bit of a movie buff you can actually catch a glimpse of a film clip by 'Insomnia' to old Musical spectatular "FAME" on the end of a Movie/series entitles 'Cosi'. The film clip was self funded By Kell herself. < ---- What a sport!!

"She started playing drums around 7or 8, and Kel and I were basically performing our infamous "family concerts" around that time too. I think Kel professionally got into it around 16, when she started the "Teen Queens." - Kylle Hogart

Her latest claim to stardom is through Kids Like us Production 'Hi-5' ( Weekdays at 9am, channel nine.) Kell specialises in the Lynquistics side of the program, and shares her segment with what some would call and irritating puppet that loves to talk. ( hence the name - Chatterbox).
Hi-5 started out much like the recent 'Popstars' auditions, except without the artificial publicity boosts!!

Around 250 hopefuls auditioned but was soon narrowed down to 15 people. The remaining 15 were places into groups of 5 and coincidentally the group consisting of Nathan Foley, Kathleen De Leon, Charli Robinson, Tim Harding and Kellie Hoggart scored the job and first went to air in 1999, collecting 2 ARIA's and 2 LOGIES, continuing solidly to this date.
