I'm not convinced anyone reads this anymore, but since I write this mostly for myself, I suppose it doesn't matter.

Let's see, what to tell: There's the satellite hookup story, or the labor day trip to Tampa, or the chaos that is my family...

No, let's talk about the Stars. What the hell is going on? I can't say I have good feelings about them at this point. I'm sorry? What was that you said? It's only preseason? Maybe so, but for some reason, I'm not having a good feeling about this season.

Tech isn't doing too badly. We just won't talk about that one game. Yeah, that one. Hush up now. It's not their fault the buses got confused and Tech ended up sending their dodgeball team to Ft. Worth instead of the football team. It could have happened to anyone.

I have gone to two tailgates at SMU this season. Or as we like to say, all the home games so far. I seem to be good luck for them. They have blow-out games for these past two. It's nice not to feel like a jinx. I was having issues when I went to the IceGators. They lost the first game I worked down there. Of course, their fate was pretty much already sealed before I got there, so I'm going to duck the responsibility on that one.

Anyway... some exciting things could be in the works. And it's Fall. I love Fall in Texas. It's just amazing. Fall here almost makes the summers worth it.
