I have to admit that the reason I'm doing this is because I caved to peer pressure. Yes, that's right. Me. Kelley. Her Royal Fabulousness (so christened by the very subject of this first paragraph) has caved to the wants of
Matt W. See, he won't put a link to my website on his website unless I have blog. I can't figure out if it's because he believes in trying to assimilate everyone to his g33k ways or he actually thinks I might have something interesting to say. Let's go with the second one and save everyone a whole bunch o' trouble, shall we?

I actually do read several blogs, belonging to friends of mine. I find them quite interesting. One of this is of the aforementioned Matticus Prime. I also read
Matt M's blog. He's been blogging the longest, to the best of my knowledge. (Links are also on the links page, so never fear.) I tried to do some blogging when I was in Nashville, but it wasn't particularly interest, even to me. It was actually pretty self-indulgent, and honestly, a bit boring.

In other news, last week I caved and went to Neiman's to apply for a job. I really didn't want to because I kept thinking I would have another option come up. This whole job hunting thing is really the pits. I can't understand it. Everyone has opinions on how to do it, what to say, what to put in the resumes and cover letters. And does it seem to everyone else that no one is actually really hiring? I used to think that people who said it's all about who you know were bitter. Now, yeah, not so sure.

Anyway, I went to Neiman's and applied on Thursday. I was called yesterday and had an interview today. I guess they ain't messin' around. I despair of finding a sports job ever again. It's sad to think about. Actually, I think if it's supposed to happen, the Stars will call me, but hey, who are we kidding here? I just hope someday I can have an office job. One of those would be nice, again.

Ok, so... the first blog wasn't sensational, but there it is. What can I say? My life is kind of boring right now. But I'm leaving to go watch Van Helsing with Mike. Not anticipating anything stunning or life-changing to come from that particular film, but it will pass the time.

Did you ever notice how evil a phone can be when the person you want to call you isn't calling?
