I was going to kick off with something funny, but as I was trying to remember what day it is, I realized (again) that I didn't email my brother on his birthday. Then again, the bastard didn't email me on mine. (Yes, that is a Federal Crime, but as I have not yet installed my own official form of government anywhere, I haven't a legal leg to stand on.) Anyway, it makes me sad that events have transpired to bring us to where we are. I could blame his marrying a crazy woman, and that does have something to do with it, but he is an adult (sometimes) and made his own choice to not speak to me. We never had a good relationship when we were kids. My parents have told me many times that he hasn't liked me since birth. Not a crawling-into-my-crib-in-the-middle-of-the-night-with-a-pillow kind of hatred (i.e. my cousins. Little bitches.) Mom and Pops have both told me it's because I was smarter than him when we were little. I like to think I'm still smarter than he is. It basically comes down to the fact that he never wanted me around. That just makes me sad. On to our regularly scheduled programming:

I hate the word 'savory.' It's just dissonant to me. Unfortunately, it seems to be used a lot. Esp. in commercials. I have no idea what my objection to it is. I can't recall any sort of strange event that would have turned me off to it. I love words. I get two word-a-day emails, for crying out loud.

Ok, I think it's too early in the day for me to be updating this. I keep forgetting the words I want. I'll add more later.

Ok, I'm back. It's been a pretty good day. I went out to run some errands and had some good purchasing karma. I got a great deal on a set of vacuums and other cleany things at home depot. And the microwave was on sale. Then I went to Garden Ridge for poster frames and some baskets and scored some good deals on those. And Mike went with me to Garden Ridge, which made it more fun.

I had all kinds of other things I was going to add, but I've ordered pizza and started watching
Ray, so I'm going to go lay on the couch.
