Content Area
Strategies – Mrs. Wheeler: MCAS Week!!! We will be using lots of reading
strategies. Please be sure that a good
night’s sleep and breakfast are part of those strategies. After MCAS we will continue to work on our
detective unit. We have many “Gemini
Gumshoes” who have solved the 5 – minute mysteries. My thank you for all of
your hard work during MCAS is to make this week’s journal optional. If you have a journal grade that is not what
you want, I will replace your lowest journal with the optional journal. Otherwise, just work on the plans for your
PowerPoint Project. Have a great week.
Science – Mr.
Fisher: This week in Science we are
studying the human body. We will be
learning about the levels of organization in all multi-cellular creatures and
learning the functions of all the systems in our body. We will also be creating some art and motion
to represent these functions. Have a
peristalsis-like week! Grades

Educational
Support Specialist – Mrs. Baker: Progress reports have been
issued and should be signed and returned as soon as possible. MCAS testing will
be finished tomorrow, so now it is time to concentrate on making the rest of
this term your best. Work on your
reading project a little each night, and do all your homework. Zeros kill an
average. Parents, the time between now
and June is very important, so please check agendas nightly and help your child
with time management.
World Language
– Mrs. Borstel and Mrs. Wesley: Students should be working on their Final
Paragraph. They need to answer 10
questions and then create a paragraph.
This is due June 4th.
