Reading – Mrs. Wheeler: The Challenge Log DEADline is Friday – 3 more days.  It is important to review BOTH sides of the green criteria sheet to be sure all items are included in the log.  Try to take advantage of the time management bonus – you can still get 6 extra credit points for turning the log in on Wednesday and 4 points for Thursday.  The last test of the term will be using the Newspaper Glossary created in class. The test for Red, Orange and Blue will be on Wednesday.  The test for Yellow and Green will be on Thursday.  Please check the Know Where You Stand Chart to be sure all 2nd term work is complete.  Have a great week.

Science – Mr. Fisher: This week in Science, we are working with the Scientific Method to solve several problems including what variables make the best pendulum, and taking a practice test for our Scientific Method quiz this week. The optional Science in the News is due on Wednesday, January 14th. The Science Fair is optional this year, if students are interested in conducting an experiment, they can stay after school on Tuesday to discuss the project. Have a conclusion like week!

Educational Support Specialist – Mrs. Baker: Second term ends on Friday, January 23rd—Challenge Log deadline is this Friday, January 16th.  Make-up of the Mrs. Baker response for the Challenge Log will be today, Tuesday, January 13th—the first day there are late buses. If this term has not been your best, it is time to get back on track. Take the time now to get your notebooks organized, re-supply if necessary for Geography, and set your goals for the new term. Parents, it is important for you to continue checking agendas, and ensuring that your child is meeting necessary deadlines.  Too many points are being thrown away. Again, thank you for your help.
