Reading – Mrs.

of “Gemini Blue Presents People Past and Present.” Cleo helped model the format for our biography projects. Thank you Cleo! Students should be reading
their biographies, and biography action plans should have been signed and
turned in. We will be working on
general note-taking strategies and a specific strategy for research note
cards. The second journal of term 3 is
due Friday.

discover how this information is useful to scientists in everyday life.
We will be working in the Science Lab and Computer Lab this week. Our
second Science in the News for Term 3 is due on Wednesday, February 11th.
Grades are updated each Monday at www.mfisher.net. Questions, comments? [email protected]. Have a density-rific week!
Educational
Support Specialist – Mrs. Baker: Have you gotten off to a
good start for term 3? It is only two weeks until mid-term so now is the time
to get work completed and turned in. Vacation will be here next week so work
hard to get everything done so you can relax and finish reading your biography
book. Keep up with your reading of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry and do
the learning logs, and don’t forget that the second Science in the News is due
on Wednesday, February 11th.
Parents, please keep checking the daily agendas to ensure that your
child is meeting the criteria for assignments and turning them in on time. Have
a productive weekJ
