Right now the game has 5 different "Ways To Play". The Skirmish, Gravball, Team Death Match, Ambush, and Capture the Flag.
What are these, you ask? Well how about I tell ya!!! Don't get too excited.

1) Skirmish- Pretty basic game. You can choose between a variety of different people, each with a different special quality. There are 2 teams on a pretty big map fighting over 5 key positions on the map. The team that holds all 5 at the same time for 20 seconds wins the game. Its not all soldiers though. There are MechSuits with twin Machine Guns and a Flamethrower, there is an armored transport, and an armored turret rover (called a "slick").

2)Gravball- You gotta have some patience with this game. It can be very frustrating. It is basically like playing soccer in a giant maze. There are a few differences though... You are riding on a hover bike, and you can shoot down your opponents. That's basically the whole game. First team to get 3 goals wins.

3)Team Death Match- You are in a big building, a very big building. You, the rest of your team, and 3 other teams will go on an all out rampage to destroy one-another. The team with the most kills at the end of the time limit wins. They don't call it "Death Match" for nothing.

4)Ambush- Almost the exact same thing as Team DM but there are a lot more teams and instead of kills being points, its the number of flags your team has. Also, a collective "Squad" can play as a team in this setting. A Squad is like a Clan, or a Regiment. You get the idea.

5)Capture The Flag(CTF)- Now, if you ask me, this game's name is pretty self-explanatory, but if you want me to tell you, I will. This game is for Advanced Soldiers Only. You deffinately have to know what you are doing. The maps are so big, with so many doors, and sub-levels, and all that other stuff. It confuses even me(hehe).Currently there are 3 different maps you can play on, "The Twin Peaks" "Heinrich's Point" and "The Elite" Maps. All of these maps offer very challeging flag locations and base options. Something else that is really cool is that if you switch between these maps, your stats will be saved for both. So if you have 150 kills in one, that same stat will be there in the other. There is a distinct between the three maps. "Twin Peaks" is a smaller map with more group fights and "Heinrich's Point" has more one on one fighting. "The Elite" map is strange. Squads can form their own teams in this Zone so there could be a Lot...and I mean A LOT!! of teams fighting for 4 Flags. Its very tough to win this map but if you do, you will be rewarded by a lot of $ and a lot of EXP. which helps you gain ranks and buy guns. The "Titans" and the "Collective" are on both maps but on "HP" the extra team is called the "European Mercs". In Elite, teams can be formed with any name they want so there can be quite a variety.

6)Mechanized Skirmish- It has a few key differences than the regular Skirmish. First, it has an entirly new map. The map kind of reminds me of the CTF map called "Twin Peaks". Its a cool map with a lot of hills. I'm not sure about this but I think the flags on this map change evry game except for the 2 constants. Also, there are many, and I mean many more Exosuits, transports, and slicks. Added to these there are:

*Plasma Tanks- Very cool, does a lot of damage to both enemy troops and vehicles. 3 people can fit in this tank. One being the driver, a second for the plasma cannon, and a third for a LMG in the front of the tank for cover fire and to get rid or some pesky troopers.

*Missle ????(not sure what its called hehe)- This is the exact same thing as a slick except for one key factor. You guessed it!! Its got a missle launcher on top in place of a MG. How about that??

7)Trench Skirmish- Smaller Map than most. Uses same guns and units as the original skirmish. The object of this Zone is basicly just to kill. There is a catch though. Three Deaths in one game and you are riding the pine for the rest of that game.

Also, if you do decide to download this game, I must warn you now, the game is in Beta testing so you may have to download little mini files every once and a while. One more thing. The servers have been improved upon but they still lag a bit just like every other online game out there. Hey, nobody is perfect...
