·In His Eyes· Oh how sweet and soppy and poorly writen. The songs used are all from Jekyll & Hyde (Which is a fantastic musical). ·Lost in the Darkness. ·In his Eyes. ·Someone like You. ·Once Upon a Dream. If there is any songs I've missed, I'm sorry. I havn't been sleeping for days from stupid nightmares and I want to go collapse somewhere. Just needed to get this story out of my system. Wrote this in like 35-40 minutes, so shoot me <3. The dark haired female youth curled up in a mans shirt, buried in it's folds, inhaling it's scent deeply with tears in her emotional brown eyes. A finger stroked a photo that lay in her lap, a crumpled letter in her other hand. She sighed deeply, wishing her misery would go with it. I sit and watch the rain, And see my tears run down the windowpane... I sit and watch the sky. And I can hear it breathe a sign... She sat there in the silence, happily in a way, until the phone rang, shattering her peace. She let her head roll from where it rested on the side of the window, staring out through the smeared glass to stare at the phone in the corner of the room. Her eyes looked lifeless and hollow, her skin pale and translucent, as if blood no longer flowed through her veins. I peer through windows, Watch life go by, Dream of tomorrow, And wonder "why"? Why did this have to happen...? The girl started to tear at the pages in her hand, ignoring the phone's insistent tone. Such rage filled her she could hardly see...but still... My heart would take wing, And I'd feel so alive - If someone like you Loved me... Loved me... Loved me!... The phone finally rang out, and her answering machine clicked on to replace it. Her message consisted nothing but silence, but the caller stayed on until a *click* was heard. There was silence again, before a muffled person crying was heard. "..Sophie..." *click* I think of him, How we were... And when I think of him, Then I remember... Sophie closed her eyes as tears flooded her again, memories flowing with them. The image of his joyful smile as he saw her, the forest flowers he'd driven for ages to get her, knowing they were her favourite. The memorie of him cudling her affectionatly, the feeling of knowing no other could make her feel so needed, and knowing she could never love another as much as she loved him... I am in love With the things That I see in his face - It's a memory I know Time will never erase... She slammed down the picture frame onto the ground, the glass shattering as if nothing could protect the image and memory the photo had captured now. She jumped down from the window sill, her dressing gown catching around her legs as she landed on the glass, several blades of crystal like protection for treasured pictures bursting into her feet, blood leaving it's mark over his loving smile...his face right next to her's with their fingers entangled...his arms around her waist... Remember... The way he said her name...the way he called her 'Love-Bacon'...of all things...and her him 'Sack of Potatoes'... The way his scent lingered on her clothes and the way he bounced around happily when they were together…The way he only confided in her and would count down the hours until they got to talk, or see each other again…even if it was only for a few precious minutes…their time together seemed timeless to them… Lost in the darkness, Silence surrounds you. Once there was morning, Now endless night. Now she was lost, never to be found…only by him… Only by him… She now lived in silence, speaking not and never raising her eyes to meet any others. The last words she’d uttered she’d keep them that way…until she got to utter them again…and only to the same person… “I love you…” Together they’d lived in harmony, bickering only fondly, finding joy in even mixing with other people to do shopping, or picking out a new video to enjoy at home together, flopped on the couch in each others arms… And now? No lights had been turned on in their house since he’d vacated his side of the bed…seeming never to return…and if so, neither would light to her life…endless night would consume her…and she’d fall into it, willingly…happily… When it's all began, We knew there'd be a price... Once upon a dream, I was lost in love's embrace. There I found a perfect place, Once upon a dream. Her perfect place was with him…and if he couldn’t be there for her…she couldn’t be there for the world…she could only live by loosing herself in the memory of their dream… A taller male reached the house he’d never meant to leave, a house he hesitated to enter again…afraid of what he’d find… But he couldn’t stay away anymore…not when every phone call had gone unanswered… Deep in your silence, Please try to hear me; I'll keep you near me Till night passes by. He’d never left her, never let her fall far away from his heart…and this was what had brought him back…he couldn’t live without her… His blue grey eyes scanned the house for life…and he found none…lights where off, curtains drawn but one…was no one home…? Filled with sudden urgency he slammed the car door shut and darted up the drive way, pelted up the stairs and cursed as his fingers fumbled on the ledge over the edge of the balcony, looking for the key to their front door. And finally he found it… And finally he ran into their home once more… Sophie couldn’t believe it… In his eyes I can see Where my heart longs to be! In his eyes I see a gentle glow, And that's where I'll be safe, I know! “Soph…” He took a step towards her…uncertain at first at what her reaction would be… But she just stood there. Blood creeping out from under her feet where she still stood on their favourite photo together, one hand on her pregnant stomach, and tears running down her uncared for and malnourished cheeks. He swallowed a sob, daring to step closer, and he brushed a lock of her brown hair aside, his blue grey eyes gazing into her now strengthening – but still heart broken hazel eyes. Safe in his arms, close to his heart... But I don't know quite where to start... By looking in his eyes, Will I see beyond tomorrow? Then he pulled her close, tightly against his body, finally sobbing aloud, feeling his love hide against his chest, finding salvation against what had broke them apart. As is sensing what she’d done to her feet, or maybe he’d noticed, he picked her up smoothly and carefully into his arms and curled her close to him, careful especially of the three month old bulge where her flat stomach used to be. He pressed his forehead against her’s, still gazing into her eyes. “Will I be here tomorrow…will you take me back?” She paused…“…I don’t know…I can’t see without you by my side…will I see again…beyond tomorrow…?” The question is… “Will you stay…?” Will his eyes reveal to me Promises or lies? But he can't conceal from me The love in his eyes! She gazed deep into his eyes, recoiling slightly, afraid of what she might see. Until she saw what she wanted to see… The final truth… The love in his eyes… “What do you see…?” “Exactly what I wanted…enough to forgive you with…” Love is worth forgiving for! Now I realize - Everything worth living for Is there, in his eyes! Love is worth forgiving for! Now I realize - Now I realize - “And Soph…will you marry me…?” Everything worth living for Is there, in his eyes! |
