- Kasimir, the land of shapeshifters. Kasimir is the largest continent on Ichim, and it is both the name of the continent and the country that fills the entire space. The god of the Kasimirian people is Aachen. Every person who lives in Kasimir has a chance to get an animal-form from Aachen once in their lives. They go to a school, and find a master best suited for their talents. They get trained in their forms. Once they have mastered their forms, they also gain the use of mindspeech, which can only be use while they are Shifted.

- Names. They have their first name, their families last name, and then once they gain full control over their shapeshifting, they are given another name to add on to the end of their name that is unique to them alone [example of a full name: Karim Vercingetorix Na'Skalich, and the password to the joining board is vercinge]. This name is given to them by their teacher, or, in the case of high ranking nobles, by the Emperor himself. Occasionally, if one had a specifically meaningful name that they would like to have, one can suggest it to their teacher, who will grant it to them once their training is complete. If someone did not know their family, they will not use their family's last name, signifying to all who know Kasimirian customs that the person had no family ties.

- They consider themselves to be very civilized. They have a bit more technology then what Dorotheans/Apandornas do, such as electricity. Their society is almost entirely male-dominated. The ruler is always male. Females are generally looked down upon, though that idea is rapidly changing as society progresses. For all that Kasimir is 'civilized,' slavery is widespread still, or at least among the higher classes. No one really minds, and slaves are often sold in the bazaar. Many slaves are mute, such as those who serve the Emperor.

- Kasimir is quite close to Dorothea and Apandor, but in the past, it was generally shielded by Aachen. It is perhaps half an hour's boat ride [or flight] north-east of Cress Bay, making it simple enough for the citizens to travel back and forth.

- Due to the fact that most of the Kasimirian population are shapeshifters, pets are generally frowned upon, as are horses, etc. However, some people still do choose to have pets for themselves.

- The most common article of clothing in Kasimir is robes, which are generally in bright colors [unless one works for the intelligence agency, or there is some new odd trend the encourages darker colors]. In the past, Kasimirians were known for their love of all colors, and had no sense of matching clothes at all, though with the new influence from Dorothea and Apandor, that has been changing quickly.

- Many different humanoid species can be found in Kasimir, since they have conquered many small islands surrounding the main continent, hence many different races are represented. However, the Emperor is a very stern man, and considers anyone who isn't fully human to be ... shall we say, a lesser race? Join as elves, or anything along those lines, but don't expect the Emperor to welcome you with open arms. 1
