Thousands of years ago, two goddesses joined their powers together and created a planet where only empty space had been before. Their father helped them by creating a sun for the planet, and each used their own powers to create their own moon. The planet was named Ichim, the moons Raya and Rapaz. And from the power and the watchful eyes of the goddesses, the planet began to prosper. The younger goddess, Ariadne, watched over the people, while Ajami, the elder of the two, watched over the animals. Ajami wanted to join people and animals together, but Ariadne was against it, and people began to flock to the side of the goddess that they believed was right. Ajami showed her people how to Bond with mythical creatures, so in retaliation, Ariadne granted her people the ability to find the magic within them and how to use it. Both lands have prospered, but war has struck Ichim between the land of the magic-users, Dorothea, and the land of the Bonded, Apandor. They fought for years, neither land coming out ahead. With many young people in dire need of training, each side agreed to a peace treaty that would last for several years, and set about training the next generation.
The treaty came to an end, but both Dorothea and Apandor were wary to be the first to break the calm that had come over both lands. It was then, almost out of nowhere, when four people came, claiming to be from a continent called Kasimir, where each citizen was granted the power to shape shift into one animal form. Negotiations began between the two lands, and now people from Dorothea and Apandor are visiting in the currently neutral land of Kasimir.
