Archetype Story
I personally enjoyed writing the archetype story.  It provided an excellent experience for me to just write anything (within limits) I wanted.  Of course, being the kind of person I am, I wrote another completely random tale of badgers, snakes and asbestos.  However, my conventions could use some work, along with just about everything else.  Ultimately however, my grade was 17/30 (because of a dreaded "see me"), a less than desirable 57%.
Archetype Essay
I did not enjoy writing the essay even half as much as writing the story simply because it was not as interesting or easy to do.  Even so, I really liked some of the aspects of the essay better than those of the story.  In the essay, I was able to establish several ideas fairly easily and the title was 100 times better than that of the story.  Again, the grade was pretty terrible 18/30 (because of a "see me").
Sindbad Archetype Analysis
This assignment taught me a lot of how to analyze for archetypes.  Even though it was an extremely simple assignment, I was able to analyze the text for archetypes.  Personally, I enjoyed doing this assignment because it was fairly interesting to read about Sindbad's journeys and look for anything that seemed fairly constant.  Of course, I would like to erase the fact that it was another assignment I really did not pay attention to.  I recieved a 5/5 for this assignment, which I am happy about.
Odyssey Essay
Grade pending (due to yet another dreaded "See Me")  But I finally understand what author purpose and an argumentative thesis is now...
Odyssey Alternate Ending Poem
I found this assignment to be fairly simple, yet fun.  It allowed me to write a fanfiction of what I believed Odysseus would do once he was forced to stay inside his palace for three years.  I was able to express what I would expect Odysseus to do in my own way.  There is no grade for this apparently, but I still like it.
