There is much criticsm associated with this manufactured,
five girl group from Australia. Talentless some say, picked for their good
looks rather than their abilities, etc, etc. And while their debut is far
from being as impressive as some hype over, it it certainly not the work
of a trashy, talentless group. Indeed, those who watched the auditioning
process (and seen some of the other auditions - woah! Didn't some of those
girls realise it was an audition for a SINGING group! ), would have realised
that these girls certainly have the ability and the talent.
The songs on the album are no worse than some
creations we have been forced to listen to over the many years that music
has been a part of our culture, and indeed the songs are actually quite
good, with some VERY good songs like "Higher than heaven" and "Got me where
you want me", two numbers they performed during their instore concerts.
Certainly a GOOD debut, (perhaps had the girls
been pushed further to REALLY display the full range of their singing talent,
an excellent debut) and indeed the makings of a very successful pop group.
