The planet called Dinoworld was colonized several years after Earth was unable to support life. On this world, there are many creatures which have been described as being nearly identical to the prehistoric dinosaurs from Earth.
These creatures, roaming and living free in this world, are mostly harmless to humans. There are, however, many which pose a real threat if encountered. In order to prevent casualties on both sides, the Ranger Program was created. Protecting the creatures of this world and providing havens for those who choose to live there, the Rangers prove to be an important asset to the safety and security of this world.
