I was born on 12 March 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska.�My parents were James Joseph Werner and Cathryne Ann Mitchell Werner. I have an older brother, Robert Mitchell Werner, born 13 September 1939. Kathleen and I tried to have a family soon after we were married but suffered many miscarriages.� We were allowed to adopt Baby Boy Brinkman, born in Worcester, MA on 5 April 1967, on 29 April 1967.� He was baptized Kurt Matthew Werner.� We had Kent Michael Werner on 30 January 1968.� Katherine Michele Werner arrived on 15 May 1970.
