Our Journey to Parenthood
On March 10, 2001 we found out that I was pregnant and we couldn't be any happier about it. After fighting an almost 3 year battle with infertility we finally became pregnant.
My First Pregnancy Test was VERY positive...but of course I didn't want to believe it, so we waited another day and repeated the test on March 11, 2001, and low and behold it was just as positive the next day.
On March 29, we went for our first OB Appointment. We saw the little heart beat just beating away at 150 beats per minute via sonogram.
We repeated the Sonogram on April 11, 2001 and actually had the chance to see our "little butterball". If you look at the center of the picture where the "circle" is, you can see our little one. On the left side of the circle you can see the head, then an arm, and over on the right you can see two little leg buds.
Our baby is all of 27 mm long on April 11, 2001.
On June 20th, 2001, we found out that we are having a GIRL!!! We couldn't be any more excited about this. We have chosen the name Allyson Rachel for her.

Here I am 29 weeks and 5 days pregnant!!
