Chapter 1:
"Yep...we've spent almost a whole month on the seas...and we aren't anywhere near land. I can't see a thing but water and fog!" announced Baron in a very edge-y expression. It was like he was frustrated and also sad and wondrous at the same time.

Kayfir didn't really mind the adventure. He was never bored. He was never sick of the seas, and was always interested in venturing. He was fine the way he is. There’s food here, water (well, salt-water, but Kayfir had bottles of fresh-water from the kings quarters) and not-much shelter, but if it rained, he wouldn't mind the shower.

As for Jasire, well, he was wondrous all the time. He was very quiet and he didn't really speak much, but everyone knew what he had to say. He was crunched up into a little ball on the edge of the boat, looking into the water at all the fish and plant life.

He whipped out a long, sharp, wooden pike with a steel tip. He concentrated on the seas, staring and studying the ways of the fish. He had remembered everything that Kayfir had taught him, he had remembered to strike at the fish whenever they least expected it, and always strike them straight into the back, through the dorsal fin. He watched...carefully. He noticed a pretty huge fish swam by, back and forth, and then he noticed Kayfir beside him, watching the fish and he could notice that he was about to alarm him on when to pierce the fish.
"There's always a bigger fish" said Kayfir. Jasire didn't really pay attention to what he had just said, but he must have thought that it would have something to do with striking fish, so, without a further glance or second thought, in a split second straight after Kayfir had opened his mouth to talk, Jasire drilled the pike straight into the river, puncturing the top of a medium-sized fish, and bringing the fish above sea level, on to the boat. The water around it turned red.

"Haha, its a big one" said Kayfir. Jasire could tell that he was proud of him. Baron was just sitting on the other end of the small boat, seeking land.
Kayfir had looked up in the sky, and he looked at the clouds. He had seen something. Something white, with a bit of blue on it. It had blue fur on its back, and on top of its head. It looked so long, so pure and so peaceful.
It was a dragon. Kayfir had noticed that same dragon in the sky for his whole life so far. On bad occasions when he feels that nothing else can go wrong, he looks up in the sky to see that dragon. It just so happens that it is always out and about flying around whenever he looks up there. Its as if that dragon had blessed him. Whenever he looks up there, something good happens that will save everything. The dragon seemed so huge, it seemed like it was so long, that it went on for kilometres, but the way that Kayfir sees it, it looks so small, because the dragon is so far away up in those clouds.

'Maybe that dragon is up in heaven' Kayfir thought to himself. 'Maybe that’s why I am being blessed when things go wrong' thought Kayfir. "Maybe" he thought, yet only to discover that he was actually announcing that statement out aloud to everyone.
"Maybe what?" asked Baron.
"...Oh, nothing" Kayfir replied to him, then turned around and smiled to the clouds up above
"Hey! I found it" screamed Baron.
"Found what?" said Jasire, as he was holding the dead fish in his hand.
"I found land! Seriously, come see! Its so green and rich with colour!" screamed Baron. The two others ran over to see what he was so exited about.
"It really is land!" screamed Jasire with joy!
Baron and Jasire were happy once again.

...Maybe it was because of the dragon.

"Woo-hoo!" screamed Baron. Everyone seemed as happy as possible now since they found land. Baron was screaming so loud, that even the birds on the shore were terrified of the excruciating sound. Jasire has very happy, very happy indeed, and was packing up all of his gear back into his little backpack. Kayfir was satisfied, it was a good adventure, and now was the perfect time to leave nature. To let the water sway on its own, and to let the wind take the water. Now they were fully prepared to hit shore. They were about nine metres away.

Baron and Jasire were growing a bit inpatient, due to the high excitement of all that sand, all that grass and all those trees, and to terminate the impatience, the two jumped out of the boat and swam straight to the shore. The two were already slightly drenched, and it didn't bother them one bit that they were soaking their clothes even more. Plus, there must be some more clothes somewhere.

Kayfir witness the other two jumping about with joy, and he laughed as he watched the two break through the clear, pure surface of the waters, and Jasire swam to the land before Baron did, as he was much more fit than Baron. Plus, Baron had his usual dark grey shoulder pads and dark-grey thin yet heavy scale-male armour on. He left the rest of his armour in Jasire’s pack, because they were the more important pieces to his armour, like breastplates, elbow armours and they were all too precious to have in the waters. Of course, if there were an accident, he would dive in water with all of his armour on if he had to, but right now he was just swimming to get to that shore. There were no soldiers or people firing arrows at his back and he wasn't running from anything or anyone. He was just accompanied by his two friends.

Kayfir was still on the boat, slowly paddling to shore. He didn't mind how long he would be on that boat for, but was about 2 metres away from land. He was laughing at Baron and Jasire’s foolish remarks and actions. Jasire started to jump around on the land, laughing at Baron as he swam as fast he could. It wasn't good enough for Jasire, though. Kayfir noticed that Jasire had left his pack on the boat.

"Hey, you left your luggage back here, Jasire!" he said

"Haha, yeah, I know." he replied. Of course, Kayfir has realised by now that Jasire purposely left it in there, just so that Kayfir would have to drag it to shore by himself. He had now hit land, and by the time he got out of the small boat, Baron was standing on grass. Kayfir heaved Jasire's backpack at him. They all walked away from the water. Kayfir was behind the others. He stopped for a second, just to do one last thing. He looked behind him, gazing up at the white, overcast sky. He looked a little to the left, and realised that a cloud had just expanded, shooting puffs of cloud everywhere out of the front, as if something has gone straight through there.

He thought to himself "See you next time, dragon." and he exposed a slight smirk on his face.
