AN: Cause Joey's a good guy at heart... I think. =) The lyrics are for a song called "Annabella's Song" but it fits Brianna perfectly. Nicknames are wonderful things. LOL Feedback of any kind would be nice people. I get few emails and the number is dwindling. ********************************* Brianna's Song ********************************** *I see you roll your eyes You know it makes me smile You are like the sun to me Bright as liquid fire I feel so powerless To hold you up above the world You are quite a lot of trouble Such a pretty little girl Such a pretty little girl* Joey tried not to laugh as Justin continued on a tirade about his solo tour and possible second album. Brianna was making it extremely difficult. The adorable imp was alternating between rolling her eyes and trying to mash bannanas into Chris's mohawk. She was frighteningly successful and a snort escaped despite itself. Justin sighed. "You aren't even paying attention to me Joe. I seriously don't know why I bother..." He surrenderd to laughter. "But J, Brianna, bannana..." Joey trailed off as Justin turned around and sighed again. Brianna and Chris looked up, guilty. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "You're one lucky man Joe," Justin said softly. Joey Fatone nodded, solemn. "I know and I thank God every day for blessing me with his most precious angel." Brianna squealed and smashed the rest of the bannana onto Chris's head. All three *NSYNC members winced as Joey's daughter giggled. *You know I'm never home I'm always miles and miles away I feel I'm runnin' out of time Say the things I need to say Call you on the telephone You will not talk to me Yeah you just don't understand You are my everything* "What's wrong with Joe today? He's being a bastard..." Chris raised thick brows at JC's question and answered. "Its Brianna's brithday." Jayce's blue eyes widened and he glanced at their band mate as he yelled at Justin for leaving his socks on the floor of the Toy Room. "Oh" JC said softly. Chris nodded somberly. "Big oh." *Anna, Anna Tell me what you want Tell me what you need Anna, Anna, you are never alone You are never alone* "I miss you Brianna Anna..." Lance tried not to listen as Joey cooed into the phone and sang to a daughter he hadn't seen in six months. He shifted in his seat and tried to quell the pity that was rising in his chest. Joey didn't take pity from anyone and it wasn't Lance's place to offer it. Lance hated that he was glad to be single and unattached. Hated that in the fifteen years that *NSYNC had been together he had never had the chance of raising a family. Hated more that Joey had a family that he never got to see. *Anna, Anna Tell me what you want Tell me what you need Anna, Anna, you are never alone You are never alone* Father's Day was a bad day for Joey Fatone. He tried to make it home when he could, but the years he couldn't were often bloody affairs. A wrong word or gesture from the other four could send the usually laid back Joe into a rage that often resulted in black eyes and split lips. Joey got Brianna a cell phone when she was seven so that she could call him whenever she wanted. They talked on the phone for hours upon hours. The wild man had grown up and he missed his daughter desperately. *I like to watch you play When you don't know I'm there See you in your sleep at night Reach out and touch your hair I wanna make this world Be just how you want it to be Yeah you just don't understand You're my everything* When he was home Joey was by Brianna's side constantly. His little girl had grown up in leaps and bounds, from a precious baby to a beautiful child. He spent hours on the floor with her, playing tag or chase or Barbie. He loved watching TV with her because he could watch her face without her squriming and wonder at the miracle of her existence. He and Kelly never married but they were more a couple than many married couples they knew. They had their differences but when the three of them sat on the couch with a movie on, Brianna between them, he and her could share a look of such complete understanding that saying vows didn't matter. Brianna was their promise to each other and themselves. She was their forever. She was his salvation. She was his daughter. *NSYNC was his life but Brianna was Joey Fatone's world. He wouldn't have it any other way. *Anna, Anna Tell me what you want Tell me what you need Anna, Anna, you are never alone You are never alone*
