    Okay, everyone has heard of Ranma and Akane. Everyone knows that no matter how much they like each other, they will always fail to communicate exactly what they want to say to each other. Everyone knows they like each other, and never had eyes for anyone but each other (screw Kuno, Tofu, Ryoga, Shampoo, Ukyou, crazy gymnast girl and all the others!) They dragged their relationship out for all 38 volumes of Ranma? and then in the last story we didn't even get to see them get married. End of Story. Rumiko Takahashi is probably the queen of dragged-out-romances. Ranma and Akane is one example, Inu Yasha and Kagome is another. So many times have we seen Inu yasha blush at seeing Kagome, and so many times have we been inside Kagome's thoughts as she wonders why she can't get I.Y. out of her mind, but noooooooo, they just won't get a clue and start making out. Okay so now we all know about Takahashi-sensei's inability to draw love scenes.

      Talk about not getting together. Look at Tsuzuki and Hisoka! Tsuzuki tells Hisoka he loves him, but Hisoka gets embarrassed ans swattes him away. Hisoka blushes whenever he bumps into Tsuzuki (there's actually a scene in vol. 4 where Hisoka bumped into Tsuzuki's chest and blushes like mad), and Hisoka runs into Tsuzuki's arms twice, not to mention all the hints he got from Tsubaki in vol. 3 about Tsuzuki. So what if there's a huge age difference (Tsuzuki's 96 but retains the body of 26, and Hisoka is 16), they're all dead, and Hisoka won't ever catch up to Tsuzuki. Yet he retains the illusion that someday, he'll catch up with Tsuzuki (age-wise, power level-wise). What, is he waiting till then to fess up?! Kanoe-kachou didin't put them together just so they'd edge around the issue all the time (well actually he put them together because they work well together). You'd think that after 9 volumes they'd get somewhere (kisses, maybe?!), but Hisoka's still as stoic as when he was first introduced, and Tsuzuki just gets more and more silly under normal circumstances (Matsushita-sensei laughingly said that he was in danger of losing his seat as the main character). And Hisoka's never ever smiled! Ooooooh when Mastsushita-sensei decides to make him smile for the first time, he better be smiling at Tsuzuki!

      Yuki and Shuichi is another example. They're already a couple, but there are so many ups and downs in their relationship that you never know if Yuki will end up killing Shuichi or not. So many times it could go either way. You really wonder if there's ever an end to their soap-opera-like love story. Hey, we all know Seguchi Touma, we know Touma is a demon in disguise, we know Yuki respects Touma, but did he really have to go and give up the love of his life for him? Sometimes you really wonder where Touma's motives lie. I swear he's the meanest person alive.

      There's really not much I can say about Taichi and Yamato... except that maybe next time they bitchslap each other, they can get some kisses in instead of punches. I mean, we Taito fans know that the reason they're taking a roll in the grass is only so they can touch each other without anyone getting suspicious, right? *evil smile* They've been all over each other (I love this one scene where Taichi knocks Yamato over and it looks as if he's about to pull Yama's pants down *cackle* and this other one where Taichi is straddling Yamato   O.o I swear I'm not making this up!) in Season 1. In Season 2 they've stopped fighting, but Yamato still punches Taichi when he needs it and there are so many scenes in both season where they're so close they can kiss. So why don't they? (Cos it's a damn kid's show and they don't wanna corrupt little kids)

      Ahhh, Clamp... now there's a group who knows how to write suggestively! Ashura-oh and Taishakuten... Touya and Yukito/Yue... Ashura and Yasha (drop the fake father-and-it act! You're not related and Ashura gets bigger so get it together already!) So much to rant about, so little time and space...
