Science: Fourth Graders Create Animal Books
|
|
|
|
In the fourth grade we are learning about reptiles. We're drawing our own made up reptiles. Zachary says, "I made my own Lizake," which is a lizard/snake. Marc made striker, which is a walking poisonous rattlesnake. Josh made a R.U.N, which stands for Reptile Uncollectable Nonmammal. Not only has the fourth grade learned about reptiles but we also learned about mammals, birds, amphibians. We will also be learning about fish, the last group of vertebrates.

In Math this year we have done addition and subtraction. Our class did a little division and multiplication. We worked with clocks and learned how to tell time. We also multiplied with zeros.
We just started multiplying two digit factors. It is fun but a little hard! We are doing Mad Minutes. Some of us are on the Mad Minutes Challenge. Cool!

Aviva: Hello Marty. How're you doing?
Marty: Ain't doin' so good right now.
Aviva: What's wrong?
Marty: Almost someone found out about Shiloh.
Aviva: How?
Marty: That Judd Travers just came up to my house lookin for Shiloh.
Aviva: Good luck keeping Shiloh a secret and well, thanks for the interview. Bye.

The fourth grade has been working on mystery stories for two weeks. We'd like to summarize a story or two.
Eli Pollack says his story is about "Lebron James who gets a Hummer H2 for his birthday. Someone steals it. Who did and why did they do it?"
Ma'ayan Allon says, "Eli's story has a really cool mystery."
Vered Schwell says, "Eli's story is very interesting."
