Respect to Dojo: |
|
|
|
<> Bow Beforing entering the Dojo mat. (Signifies your focus toward training and respect toward those also practicing)
<> Bow before leaving the Dojo mat. (Signifies your focus toward training and respect toward those also practicing)
<> Remove footwear before entering the Dojo mat. This includes socks. (Custom)
<> Dress and undress in bathroom.
<> Be in full uniform before entering the Dojo mat. |

Respect to Instructor(s): |
|
|
|
<> Address instructors as Mr., Ms., Mrs., Sensei or Sempai.
<> Always answer or reply with "Yes Sir" or "Yes Ma'am".
<> DO NOT interrupt the instructor(s), raise your hand if you have a question.
<> DO NOT speak unless recognized.
<> Know your instructor's rank and history. |

| Respect for each other as students: |
|
|
|
<> Practice self-control at all times.
<> Use controlled, slow and relaxed sparring techniques.
<> "TAP OUT" during holds to tell training partner to release.
<> Bow to each other before and after practicing techniques together.
<> Never embarrass other students, always encourage and help one another.
<> Always help fellow students with training and rank requirment material.
<> Remove all jewlery before entering training area.
<> For safety reasons, no long fingernails or toenails.
<> No food or gum on the Dojo floor. |
