AND IT BEGINS
CHAPTER ONE

It was a regular morning in the apartment of the 5 young men. " Maxwell get out of my way!!! You take as much time in the bathroom as a woman! K'so I'm going to be late AGAIN because of you!!!" Wufei ran into the bathroom shoving the chestnut haired boy out of his way. "Well excuse me for having to have a mirror to do my hair!" Duo yelled into the door. He was still wearing his pajamas and wasn't really interested in being stuck in classes all day, AGAIN. 'Why do we have to be normal!?!? I could just get a job at a Burger King or something..'
Quatre who was ALWAYS pleasant walked past Duo fully dressed and ready to go, "C'mon Duo hurry up and get ready! We're all gonna be late again." "I'm not going to school today." Duo said grouchily. Quatre smiled, "Remember the girls...." "The girls ain't helpin taday. I'm stayin home." "The girls AREN'T helpING TOday." Quatre corrected helpfully. "Well thank you Mr. Grammar." Duo said sarcastically. Quatre mumbled, "It's like having my sister's pms-ing . God." "What was that?" Duo asked eying Quatre suspiciously. "I said I'm going to tell Heero and you know he's gonna drag you to school if you don't go willingly." Duo growled to himself, "1.Must get own apartment. 2. Must kill tattle-tale blonde. 3. Must get Toni Hope to go out with me. 4. Sleep for a whole day without waking up or break the world record for sleeping concecutively." Quatre heard most of the ramblings as Duo walked toward his room to change into his uniform.
"Tsk,tsk. He really needs to shape up.. or he'll never pass his senior year."(they're juniors at the moment) Quatre turned and walked towards the living room to wait with Trowa for the others.
Duo walked out of his bedroom with his tie half done, his cuffs undone, shirt partially tucked in on one side and wearing sneakers instead of the cutomary dress shoes/boots. Everyone knew why Duo did these things, other than the fact he hated dress codes and rules. He did it to attract a young lady's attention, it was a pretty well known fact she liked rebels and she liked Duo but she wouldn't admit that, about Duo that is. Heero and Wufei were standing by the door with their books by the time Duo had gotten 'ready' for school. Even though he was dressed in the customary way, he still had a sexy 'ya know ya love me' air about him and he still looked cute. "Ready to go to class everybody?" Duo asked in his regular cheery voice. 'JUST like my sisters'!!!' Quatre thought.
Duo was attempting to keep his mind on the three things he loved about school, 1.Toni Hope (or whatever nickname she went by that week) 2. Gym Class and 3. LUNCH. Since the school was private AND picked out by Quatre it had all the best foods (gourmet cooks) but it also had the most boring classes BUT the most vigerous gym stuff he had done in a while outside of hobbies.
They all left the apartment complex in a hurried walk, except Wufei and Duo they were running like they were on fire. For 2 totally different reasons, and slightly similar. Wufei was worried about being late to class so was Duo but he wanted everyone to get a good look at his outfit and have a chance to mingle before the bell. The others really weren't to social except Quatre because he was the #1 batchelor and he wasn't to into having gold digger teen girls tackle him with everything they had.... except for some of the girls, he found them quite....nice (if ya know what he's thinkin!).
They all had first period together so they would know which was late and who was messed with, as if they cared. Wufei and Duo made it into class right before the bell, like by half a second.The other three waltzed in about half a minute after the bell. The FEMALE teacher was interested in Quatre so she let him by, but for the two silent students she gave detention slips. Heero just muttered, "Omae O Korosu Sensei." (think I spelled it right and I said the right thing. If not email me at [email protected]^^) Trowa just nodded.
(Oh and they are in the US! I know nothing boutz Japenese schooling except you have ALOT of homework. So it's like being in the US of Az-z!!! But they aren't in the US it's just something like the US cuz I don't even think there was a Us in GW...)
Duo took his normal seat in the back a row and 2 chairs behind Toni Hope. He stared at the front as if looking at the teacher (like most of the guys... but they were drooling along with the looking). The teacher was lecturing on history, for some reason they learned more modern history and worked their way back. She went out of her way to call on Quatre. But she suddenly turned around, "Ms. Hope! I have warned you multiple times to stop talking! No will you switch seats with Ricky, next to Duo, so you will not talk to your friends." Duo blinked and just tried to figure what happened, since had been daydreaming, then he realized Ms.Sekret (??? looking at my sweet secrets lotion and i was out of ideas ^-^ never fight a wall in the dark. they beat you, BADLY o.o) had just moved TONI HOPE to sit next to him. He silently thanked her. The teacher had been back to lecturing about the past, but Duo wasn't paying attention to her. He had his eyes locked on Toni who seemed to be zoning out. Duo yawned as he felt boredom settling in, 'God I wish I had stayed home today.. This is TO boring.' He gave a side glance to Toni and a small smirk (yes only a small smirk, he doesn't wanna get called on) crossed his lips, 'But there are some perks.' He napped the rest of the period without being caught, amazingly, maybe because the teacher had been focusing on Quatre the entire time when questions were needed to be answered.
The bell rang and before Ms.Sekret could protest they all had disappeared from the room. Duo had been nudged by Trowa who sat behind him, and the bell woke him up as well. (it's pretty loud o.o) Toni had somehow got out of wonderland and got up the exact same time as Duo almost running into him (desks are in rows), "Uhh..." he took a step back, "Ladies first." She smiled at him, a real smile not some courteous smile that said 'I'm just doing this to be nice'. "Thanx." She said sweetly as she grabbed her books and walked out the door. Duo thought he was going to die, 'She TALKED to me she actually talked to me.' Well, somehow, he didn't know how, but he ended up in his geometry class. He wasn't paying attention again, but this time he stayed awake, he just daydreamed all period. He drifted off to his next class after that. The rest of the 3 classes before lunch were pretty much a daze, since he was tired and he didn't WANT to pay attention anyway.
Well he walked into the lunch room and sat with the other guys, as in his/their normal routine. Well he had gotten his lunch and was about to start eating it when. One of Toni's friends came over to the table, she gave Heero one of those 'I want you, I want your body, BADLY' looks (my 'friend' gives that look to this one guy all the time!). Duo had taken a bite out of his sandwhich, for once he hadn't gotten a big lunch just a sadnwhich a soda and a pudding, "Hn..." he said using one of Heero's many phrases, trying to seem bad. Eve (the girl's name) smile at Duo sweetly, "Hi Duo-kun." she said even sweetly, Duo looked at her staying quiet even though he wanted to know what she wanted, "Oh yeah! T wants to talk to you." Wufei looked at his companion (NO not that way! the nice G definintion! yaoi people >>)

(the point of that I have no idea o.o) ANYWAY! Wufei looks over at Duo and says, "You are going to let a WOMAN command you!?" Duo shrugged, "Rather a woman than a man." Eve shot Wufei a death glare (oh lord she's even acting like heero she wants him so much. sometimes i wonder if i smoke crack in my subconsious being.. maybe that's why i can't remember stuff and i black out! o.o doctor i've just made a major breakthrough!!) Wufei glared right back at her. Eve broke the glare, "I don't deal with LITTLE boys." Wufei almost blew up but she turned to Duo again, "She wants to talk to you outside by the trees." She walked off sticking her tongue out Wufei one last time, Duo smirked at Wufei, "Wu-boy you've met you're true love." Wufei glared at him and would've choked him if he hadn't gotten up to go outside.
He walked up to the beginning of the tree line of the school yard and looked casual as he walked around, wondering if he'd been tricked. But as he walked under the maybe 6th tree a young girl in a black school uniform jumped down, he nearly had a heart attack but kept a cool face. Toni smiled at him, another genuine smile that made Duo wanna..uhhh.. do stuff?..MELT.... there we go. She outstretched her hand, "Hi. I'm Toni, I don't think we've been introduced yet." her smile stayed planted on her face. 'God he's cute. Bri can't have him. He's WAY to cute for her.' Duo kissed her hand and said softly, "Duo." her face flushed slightly not expecting that, even though she expected something different, but not that different. Her face recovered quickly and she recovered from the feeling of wanting to melt right then and there, he had let got of her hand by then of course. They talked a little before they came to sit under a Cherry Blossom tree, which was rare in the area they were in.. (???) Then Duo came up with the courage to ask her, 'the dreaded question'. She had been quiet for awhile and he took the oppurtunity, "Toni, I was wondering if you'd wanna go to the movies with me tonight.", he said it in such an offhanded way as he asked. Toni tried not to look starry eyed or have hearts in her eyes, she succeded and said a regular tone, "Sure." Duo smiled at her slightly, it was like the first time he had smiled at her (yes i know it sounds impossible that the bishy wouldn't smile at her before, but he didn't, deal with it -.-') " I'll pick you up around seven then." Toni smirked, "How do you know where I live." Duo didn't answer and she smiled as if she had been victorous in something, "I live at 1713 Sunset Drive." she said sweetly. Duo nodded and made sure it was in his memory. She got up when the bell rang and kissed his cheek lightly before walking off to class. "God, I just kissed the cutest guy in school! I think I'm gonna die x.X', Toni thought with a smile across her face. Duo sat in place blinkinking, "S-s-she just kissed my cheek..." his hand flew to the place she had kissed him and felt like his heart was gonna stop. But it didn't and he got up and went to class.
He drifted through all of the rest of his classes(2) until he came to his last period , his favorite class,GYM. For two reasons, 1. he liked it and 2. he had Toni in this class with him and 3. she was on his team that week.(so i can't count. i have the sense of a 5 yr old! ^-^) When he hurried out and was changed he stood where he normally did before they did their regular laps.
