Final Fantasy Legend System: Game boy Date: 1989 This game was actually the first in the Saga series but came to the U.S as Final Fantasy Legend Graphics: This is a first generation Game Boy game, first generation Game Boy game! As you can expect the graphics are quite weak. SCORE: 1 Music: The music just like the graphics are rather dull. Rather dull. SCORE: 3 Story: Boring, generic, etc. SCORE: 2 Gameplay: This the first game in the Saga series and thus has the basic game play template for the series. You can create a party of different races of creatures, who can use different types of weapons and have different abilities. SCORE: 4.5 Note: It is basic compared to future Saga games but did lay the foundation. Innovation: This game features the ability to customize you party and you can save anywhere any time! Though the features in this game are very basic the set the ground work for many RPG to come. SCORE: 7 Replay: Due to the short nature of the game and it ability to let you pick the type of party you want there are reason to play through again. Not strong ones though. SCORE: 3 Overall: The first in the Saga series, lays a solid foundation for things to come but still is weak by itself. SCORE: 5 |
