Each game review within I have played and
beaten unless other wise noted. I will review the games in varying
categories. Below is a sample review.Graphics: This score is based on the overall artistic quality of
the game, taking into account the system that it was originally on.
This score takes into account the age of the game.
Music: This score is based on the overall quality of the music in
the game. The scores in this category are compared to all games on all systems,
though game that predate the 16 bit era will be judge much more leniently
based on the hardware limitations of the systems these games were on.
Story: This score is based upon the overall presentation of the
events that happen in the game as well as the depth of the main
characters. ,
Gameplay: This score takes into account the various systems in the
game such as: the battle system, the type of weapons, armor and items
available. The amount of secrets and side quest there are can also
raise the score.
Innovation: This score takes into account various special features
in the game such as a new type of battle system or a new way of
gaining exp. It also takes in to account break though in story
progression, graphics and music quality. This score represents
Innovations over games of the time.
Replay: This score is based on things such as number of side quest,
secrets and multiple endings. A game could also score well in this
category if the game has a low annoyance factory Likable characters
and good game play also help.
Notes: Some games I might have more to talk about.
Overall: This score takes into account all previous score as well
as the reviewers tilt. (My Bias.)
Notes: Annoyance factor: sometimes you will hear me refer to the
annoyance factor.
This means in simple terms how long can I play the game before
something starts to really get on my nerves. Things that contribute to
a high annoyance factor are high encounter rate, boring story, stupid
weak characters, complicated or confusing set up screens, etc.
