Super Mario RPG System: SNES Date: 1995 This was a project that Square and Nintendo did together. Graphics: At the time Super Mario RPG had top-notch graphics, but their cartoon nature turn me off a bit. SCORE: 8.5 Music: Many standard Mario themes along with an awesome track from a Final Fantasy game. SCORE: 6.5 Story: Mario and friend do corny stuff, blah blah blah. It’s corny and I find it less charming now than I did then. SCORE: 6 Gameplay: There are lots of mini games and secrets but you can only go up to level 30! Lame. SCORE: 7 Innovation: Mario and RPG's! Not to hot though. SCORE: Some Replay: Lot's of secrets and mini game to play, but I never really cared. SCORE: Some Overall: A good game SCORE: 7 Note: for some reason I don't think to much of this game now, but back then I though it was almost as good as FF6 and Chrono Trigger! |
