Secret of Evermore

System: SNES

Date: 1995

This game was release and made by Square U.S.A after this, Square U.S.A stopped making games anymore.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are some of the better graphics the SNES had to offer. The enemies are varied and there are cool bosses and top-notch mode 7. SCORE: 8.5

Music: While the graphics may be some of the better for SNES the music is not. It's not so much that the music sucks, but that all the tracks are forgettable.

SCORE: 5

Story: If I were to paraphrase the story you would think it's the dumbest thing you have ever heard, at least that is what I thought. Thought once I played through the game for a time I was quite surprised at how well the corny story was handled. Still it is a silly story with a weak main villain.

SCORE: 5.5

Gameplay: This game's battle system is very similar to Secret of Mana, Item handling, etc as such it is quite good. Though there is no major flaws or high point to name in the game play.

SCORE: 7.5

Innovation: Nothing new here, old Secret of Mana battle system, basic boss fighting and secret finding. Nothing new.

SCORE: 2

Replay: This game has secrets too discover but not that many. whatever .

SCORE: 5

Overall: This is an average game with no big high or lows

SCORE: 7
