Breath of Fire 2 System: SNES Date: 1995 This was Capon’s second attempt at an RPG Graphics: Slightly above FF4's in a way. This game actually looks like it is for the SNES... unlike the first. . SCORE: 5 Music: This game features the excellent "Theme of God" track along with a few other decent tracks. Then heir’s the filler. SCORE: 5.5 Story: The basic outline of the story is better than the first, but the characters are just plain stupid. The game has main characters that you do not want to save or help, but instead want to kill. Unlike Yuffie in FF7 you have to get these people and you must complete quest to save them. SCORE: 3 Gameplay: This game feature the same exciting game system as the first! Though to be fair the game is a little more fun than the first because the boss battles don't go on forever. SCORE: 3 Innovation: Nothing innovative here just generic RPG stuff. SCORE: O Replay: There are multiple endings but the game is just boring. SCORE: 2 Note: I did play this game again but let me reiterate do as I say not as I do. Overall: Same dull game, like the first but just a tad less dull. SCORE: 4 |
