Within
the box of days of old
Photos
made of precious gold
Treasures
of the very past
Gives
me pleasure that will
last
Looking
through their eyes I
see
Their
countenance is a part
of me
Blessings
are the things we
share
Happiness
is what we wear
Life
they say it still goes
on
With
every day and each new
dawn
I
find the peace that I
will need
To
gather love that is
received
Looking
back through all the
years
Fills
the heart with laughs
and tears
For
we all walk that path
again
Just
the way they did back
then.
