Your flowers looked so lovely
in the morning sun.
Almost like cheerful people
having lots of fun.
Carefree and not bothered
is how they seemed to be.
And as I passed and looked at them
I swear they waved to me.
They made my morn so cheerful
and seem oh so worthwhile.
I wish that you could see them
I know they'd make you smile.
So my love I'll water them
and tend to them with care.
And if it takes eternity
I know you'll see them there.
