Love's Tears
I see your tears fall down upon your chest. Your trying too hard for love, and you get no rest.
Then the night, it comes and you can't sleep. You're tossing and turning in bed, and you start to weep.
You wonder why you were dealt this hand. Your eyes are swollen and red, and they feel like sand.
You want to get a knife and slash your wrist. Your mind is feeling like it's in a heavy mist.
Why do you search so hard and rack your brain? The love you need will come like a fast freight train.
So just slow down and take your time, for a love thats rushed isn't even worth a dime.
So take a look at life, and then you'll see. Out there somewhere is a love for you and me.
