It's fuzzy and squishy and scary too,
but mom says it goes outside,
The little bug that's in a box.
ITS MY PET!! She says with pride.
It wiggles, it moves, it lives its life,
just passing the time away.
Enhancing such a small childs mind,
who knows it wants to play.
Put it in a tree and watch it crawl,
live a life so carefree.
But soon to be wrapped up for some time,
in a world where no one can see.
Emerging soon, just like a child,
whos beauty will catch your eye.
The yucky bug that mom dont like,
is now a beautiful butterfly..
