Don't ever say, "I tried to love you",
it has to be in your heart and soul,
and never think the love will come,
because it will only go.
Please never lie and say you do,
if it's not there to start,
and try your best with honesty,
before you break my heart.
The love should be there in your breath,
calling out my name,
and even running in your blood,
for my love feels the same.
The wasted time, the wasted years,
will haunt me every day,
for broken dreams and promises,
you can never repay.
