| I am a lifetime resident of Grove City who briefly
lived in Clintonville when I first married. We
hesitated to move back to GC simply because of the lack of parks and recreational opportunities. We lived near the Park of Roses and Antrim Lake, so my standards are pretty high. Fryer Park is a laughable excuse for a park right now. My kids age 3-8 play for hours at Park of Roses and about 20 minutes at Fryer. I believe the park should have walk/jog gravel trails around a big fishing pond, asphalt bike and rollerblading trails, flower beds and lots of benches and gazebos near visual beauty for those to relax, read, lay down, grassy areas for pets, NORMAL playground equipment with swings, shelters and grills for picnics, a huge sand pit for kids, a basketball court, fenced in backboards for individual tennis play - just to name a few ideas. Oh how I pray this campaign will work. It would be a travesty to develop this land for anything other than park use. |

| I have lived in Grove City for 14 years in Indian Trails. The biggest community need is to have well developed parks. | |||||||
