Today I will share an idea--a dream with you.

 Here it is...

Would you like to see the world a better place for everyone to live in?  Can you dream big? Will You Take the Time to Make a Difference?

Are You a Pay It Forward Recipient?

Would you like to be one of the ones who makes a difference? Then read on.

  If you don't really think it can be done, then just travel on down the page as if this was not here, and enjoy your visit.  Now...for those of you who believe they can make a difference, but most of all, really want to do something about it.

First, allow me to tell you the inspiration behind this project I am pursuing.  There is a movie that was released a while back called, "Pay It Forward."  If you have not seen this movie, please rent it as soon as possible.  I must warn you though, the ending is a real tearjerker,--you cannot help but to literally cry.  As we sat watching this moving movie, I thought to myself, "Here is a touching and moving movie that is simply fiction, but just think if the idea behind it could be made into reality.....What possibilities it has!"  Perhaps if enough people really cared about turning something like this into reality, we could have a better world.  How can I help to make this concept a reality?  But how?"

This afternoon, November 12, the answer came to me.  What if everyone who visits my website "Pays It Forward" to three people just like in the movie?  What if all my close friends and acquaintances "Pay It Forward" to three people, and they in return Pay It Forward to three more people?  What if my friends and acquaintances on my mailing list Pays It Forward, and it keeps traveling through the Internet?  Then I got to thinking further...What if everyone sends this website, my newsletter, or my emails to everyone they know?  I thought to myself that they send Urban Legends, Hoaxes they don't realize are hoaxes, jokes, and so much more, and here I am asking everyone just to do something good for three people...It should not be too hard, should it?  It won't be hard if everyone participates.  Are you ready to help change the way things are done in this world?  What if this letter reaches people of influence (everyone influences your life in one way or other though)? What if this gets to the President of the United States or to some other top official, and they follow it?  What are the possibilities?  They are endless.  Why not do something really big, and make a difference?  No act of kindness or thoughtfulness is too small.  Another question...how far will this travel?  Only time will tell.

Here is what you need to do to make this happen.  Are you still with me?  I do hope so.  I am sorry for this being so long--just bear with me for a few more minutes.

First, think big.  The bigger the better, if that is within your means.  Just don't forget that no act of kindness is too small, and we are on our way to making this project come to life. Everything--everyone counts.  Just giving with your heart is what is important.  Secondly, think of three (3) people you would like to do something special for.  It's even better when you don't know the person.  Next, do that "something special" for those three people.  The idea behind this is for you to do something special for three people, for those three people in return do something for three more people, and so on and so on.  You will need to explain to the recipient what is happening and why. If this works, you will see this snowballing, and our world will become something wonderful as this concept travels, making a difference in people's lives. How hard is it to pass on a good deed onto someone without expecting them to do something in return?

Now for the next part.  You can send people here to explain what this project is all about.  You can email it to people you know, or you can talk to them on the phone or face to face.

Once you have enacted a Pay It Forward, email me if you like, and let me know that you have done so.  If you want to tell me about what you have done, I will post it one year from my birthday of November 18.  The year will be 2003.  Send everyone to this website so they will know about this project.  It costs nothing, but a little bit of your time.

Some people say this can't be done, and I just say, "Let's prove us right--that it can be done." My slogan is "Believe in the Miracle of Believing and Dreaming."  Nothing is impossible if you want it badly enough.

We can make a difference, no matter how small it is.
