You stepped through a patch of swirling mists, emerging suddenly from a tropical rain forest into a stunning land that made you blink with surprise. Every type of environment seemed to represented at once, blending seamlessly into the next. The first area that presented itself was a chilly tundra, complete with icy patches and scraggly, frosty tufts of grass. Within a few feet you had stepped into what appeared to be the dessert, trudging through scorching sand. Ahead of you, situated on the next patch of land, which happened to look to be composed of a cool pool of water surrounded by lush green grass, lay two creatures. You approached them cautiously, wondering if they were hospitable creatures. They watched you as you stepped onto the soft grass, but didn't seem to anxious or surprised at your presence.
