This is a picture of one of Baby's tail feathers. You never see
these feathers unless she shakes her tail out, spreading the feathers, or
one of them falls out, like this one. Speaking of tail feathers, if you ever
get a lovebird, be careful of them and things made out of paper, they love
to chew that stuff up and then stick in their tail feathers. And they are
very quick about it when they know they are about to get in trouble. It is
good for them to chew stuff up, however, but it is best to give them clean
paper free of dies or other chemicals. Birds can get sick by ingesting too
much ink.
