Claudia

At the age of five, with blonde curls and iridescent blue eyes, Claudia truly looked like a French bebe doll. And because she was a vampiric child, she would never grow up. An eternal doll, a grown woman, forever trapped in the body of a child, that's what she was. 

Claudia was not even six when she was made into a vampire. Louis had found her weeping beside her mother's corpse and fed from her. Later Lestat made her into a vampire for himself and Louis. They lived together for 65 years, until she decided that Lestat should pay for making her an eternal doll, pay with his life. But her attempts proved unsuccessful. As a consequence for trying to kill her maker, she was sentenced to death by a Paris coven. When dawn came, she was victim to it's merciless rays, burnt to ashes.

In the years to come, there would be those who would see Claudia's "ghost" including Lestat.
