The Pogo stick can be found in the second dome from the top on the left hand side of Mars.
On the dark side of Mars, between two mountain ranges, there is a machine-like city. Enter this level. At the bottom of this level, there is a seemingly bottomless pit, which in fact is a secret area. Here's how to get there...
Go to the platform that has the three hyperpistol charges. Put the game into jump mode and jump up to the first platform you can enter to your right. Go up this platform until you reach a yellow tube. Go through this tube, then continue down, right and up until you reach a platform with a Garg and some Vorta Colas below it. Go to the platform above and to the right of this, then keep going down until the chute forks into two. Take the chute on the right. Keep dropping down until you can fall no longer. Go right and you will reach the pit...
...go down this pit. If you're not in God mode, move either left or right while falling, as there is a fire in the center. On the left, there are many platforms. Continue left and you will find some goodies. If you go right, there is a wall that appears too high to jump over, but there is a hidden brick on the left which you can see the left hand corner of. Jump over this wall and you will get to an enclosed area with an ice shooter. Go to the wall on the right and keep pogoing as high as you can, and the ice shooter will eventually hit you and catapult you over the wall (alternatively, play this part in jump mode. This is much easier). The robot will melt the ice (or you can wait for it to melt itself). There is a teleporter on the right.
Camouflaged bricks show up as small grey dots. These are useful to get to otherwise impossible-to-reach places, such as in the castle-like city in the ice cap in the south. Continue right through this level, and you will enter a black-backgrounded area with columns. Adjacent to the center column, you will find these hidden bricks. Jump up to the top of the column using the disguised bricks, and you enter an icy area. Keep going left and you reach some ice platforms. Follow these up to get to a caché of goodies. Right at the top, on the left hand side, there are some colas arranged to say ID . Return back to the columns. Go right and up to the platform. Then jump up again to the platform on the right and go down, avoiding the Butler Robots. Go left, and you will find small chambers with Gargs and goodies. You can shoot the Gargs through the cylindrical blocks. At the far end you will find some ammo. Go back right. There is a platform attached to the wall, with two illuminated bricks and a fire. There are more hidden bricks here. They lead you up to the Vorticon Commander. He can be killed in two ways: either by shooting him 100 times (very timely), or by shooting the cord above the big rock, which is above and left of the exit. You must jump up while shooting.
