Festive Globe If you want to know what is going on around the world (when and where), come to this site. Click on a month and the dates and name of a holiday will pop up. Click on the holiday to learn more about the origins of the holiday followed by a brief quiz. A great way to get your students talking and thinking about culture.
Culture Shock If you want to understand what some of your students are going through or what you may be experiencing yourself, read up about culture shock at this link. It encompasses intercultural studies on the phenomena as well as the symptoms.
CMMR From the Center for Multilingual and Multicultural Research, this site provides resources for bicultural/polycultural individuals. There are links to research studies and publications. A useful site to peruse when considering what exactly it means to be a United States American and how this impacts pedagogy and learning.
