In the previous exercises, we learned that most words that are spelled the same have the same stress whether they are in adjective, noun, or verb form. However, for a limited number of pairs the stress shifts when the form changes. You will hear some examples of the most common "shifting" pairs. As you listen, decide if the word in the sentence was a noun or a verb.
