Look at the passage as you listen. For most verb forms of these pairs, the stress is on the second syllable. Nouns, on the other hand, receive stress on the first syllable. Can you hear the difference? Try listening with your eyes shut. Listen as many times as you like and then answer the questions.

Some supermarkets even put produce on sale! The holidays influence business and consumer conduct. However, who would object to the hustle and bustle that permits all involved to pass the season merrily.
