Chithra N. Keembiyehetty a scientist working
at the Laboratory of Cell Biology and Biochemistry
in National Institute of Health (NIH-NIDDK)
I completed an undergraduate degree and a masters degree at
University of Ruhuna and University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
Then I read for a Ph.D in the Dept. of
Wild life
and Fisheres Sciences , at
Texas A&M University
with Dr. Delbert Gatlin
After graduation I worked at
Dept. of
Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, at
Mississippi State
University
with
Dr. Robert Wilson
Later I moved to Dr. Solomon
S. Solomon's lab at VA Medical center, Memphis. Then I joined the
Washington
University, St. Louis for a NIH training programe in Diabetes
research at Dr. Kelle
Moley's lab.
