Sunday, June 30 Dear Mom and Dad, we're in the sunshine state We are having lots of fun, everything is great Dropping a little note, just to say hello I will write more later, for now I have to go Monday, July 1 Dear Mom and Dad, we went to the beach today We played in the surf, and watched the Palms sway The sea is warm and salty, the beaches are grand We took our shovels, and made castles in the sand Tuesday, July 2 Dear Mom and Dad, we got a rain shower It didn't last long, only for an hour So we went sightseeing, theres so much to see Write more later, hugs and kisses---me Wednesday, July 3 Dear Mom and Dad, we are having lots of fun The weather's nice and clear, with plenty of sun Today we went out, to a farm with some gators I gotta go for now, I will write more later Thursday, July 4 Dear Mom and Dad, hi its me again Today we went to Disney, with Mickey and his friends The rides were awesome, the shows were great The fireworks spectacular, caused us to stay out late Friday, July 5 Dear Mom and Dad, its our last day here The trip was a blast, cant wait till next year Hope this finds you well and everything is fine See you at home soon, till next time. ~sincerely, your loving daughter (c)copyright 2007 all rights reserved.< Summer Poems The Poetic Seasons Of My Soul |
