    March Winds Are Blowing, Blowing

March winds are blowing, blowing--the sky is more blue today
Birds are gaily singing, spring is on the way
Awakenings in the meadow, blades are sharp and green
And winter winds are fading, into a gentle keen

Trees are budding, budding, bursting into bloom
Poppies are a poppin'---spring is coming soon
Fairies are a fluting, merrily they play
On the mossy greenland, under the moons bay

March winds are blowing, blowing--apple blossoms fly
Will-o-whisps dancing, spring time is nigh
    Lillies are springing---up everywhere
Trumpets are declaring, spring is in the air

The sun is shining, shining---radiant she beams
Winter snows are melting, into murmuring streams
Hark! the lark is whistling----a merry tune in air
Pixies are prancing, Spring is everywhere
