There's now a chill in the wind
Summer's coming to an end
We prepare to welcome back, a familiar friend
~Autumn is coming~
The days now swiftly pass us by
And birds take flight to southern skies
The aroma fills the air of baking pies
~Autumn is coming~

Farmers reap their fields of grain
Leaves fall from the sky like rain
And frost decorates the window panes
~Autumn is coming~

The sun streaks across the sky like fire
And trees get dressed in red and gold attire
Animals race the season, fixing to retire
~Autumn is coming~
Leaves scrunch beneath your feet, on ground
A carpet of red, gold, orange, and brown
And more keep on falling down
~Autumn is coming~

Whats left of the daylight hour is fleeting
Enter a season of warmth and greeting
Happy harvest fall greetings
~Autumn has arrived~
