An Autumn Wind Swept Through One Day

An autumn wind, swept through one day
It shook the boughs and made them sway
Tawny, jasmine, gems of gold
In the wood, the wind, one day stoled
Spinning the fields in yellow sunshine
It painted frost on the pumpkin vines
It gathered up the leaves in a heap
And made a bed for Mother Nature, to sleep.
