A Thanksgiving Prayer

We give thanks to thee O'Lord, for the blessings that come our way
For guiding us safely home, again, on this Thanksgiving day
We thankyou for the poultry, the water, and the bread
For blessing Mother's hands, in preparing this wonderful spread


We thankyou for the sunlight and praise you for the rain
For the plentiful fruits and the abundance of the grain
Father, thankyou for this bounty, that came from Heaven above
And uniting us together again in your unconditional love.
