What's Happend America?
What's happend America
you are on the decline
If this is the land of oppurtunity
why are more people in the unemployment line
You impoverish us with taxes
our government is awry
When the homeless over populate the streets
you shake your head and ask why
What would our ancestors say today
if they could see how welfare is becoming the standard way of life
They would roll over in their graves
If they knew how we've forgotten
their struggles and their strife
Drugs,violence,and ignorance
are now the diseases that plague this land
Everybody cries,"We have to do something"
yet no one does
and its getting out of hand
Racism and discrimination gives us reason
to be hostile towards one another
Working together is unheard of
for we are to busy hating each other
What's it gonna take?
For us to stop being permissable about the blame
We have to demand our country back
and restore its great acclaim.
