~I dedicate this poem to my husband.~ "1993"
you could see the glow in my face
Looking in the mirror
as I stood in a
long flowing white dress of lace
Flowers white and lavender
I carried for my bouquet
A new beginning in my life
this my wedding day
My groom in his black and white suit
looked more handsome than ever
He took my hand
looked into my eyes
and promised me forever
We took two candles
and united them into one flame
For now we were one
the same
A band of gold,
a single kiss,
vows made for life
Then the pastor pronounced us
husband and wife.
